Our sense of well-being is a critical aspect of our overall health.
Well-being involves not only our negative and positive feelings, but also our responses to both social and physical environments, including nutrition. These factors are important, not only for ourselves, but also for our famillies at every stage of life -- from children to the elderly.
Knowing more about how our genetics interact with these factors can go a long way toward enabling us to manage our situations, our feelings, and our outlooks on life. Examples of factors affecting well-being include stress, anxiety, alcohol use, social environment, smoking, oxidative stress, sleep, circadian rhythm, appetite, happiness, altruism, and spirituality, among many others.
Below are just a few examples of recent articles which touch on well-being. Members can stay abreast of new research on topics of special interest to themselves, family members, or colleagues. Join us today.
