NUTRIGENETICS UNLIMITED, INC. LAUNCHES A UNIQUE ONLINE DATABASE ABOUT THE INTERPLAY BETWEEN GENETICS, HEALTH AND OUR ENVIRONMENT
Fullerton, Calif. (October 21, 2009) – Nutrigenetics Unlimited, Inc., a privately held company in Fullerton, Calif., announces the launch of its new online database—Nutrigenetics.net—providing extremely easy access to thousands of professional articles that reveal the interplay between genetics, health and the environment. The database, offering a free trial through the month of November, also provides users with a very sophisticated indexing capability for revealing hidden relationships between genetics, diseases and healthy living.
“Our Web site was built to reveal how genetics and our environment interact to affect our health, well-being and performance,” said Ron Martin, Nutrigenetics.net founder, an industry veteran and scientific researcher. “There is a wealth of knowledge available online that can assist the public in understanding the connection between their nutrition and environment. The goal of Nutrigenetics.net is to make access to that information much, much easier, and to encourage its utilization.”
Martin possesses more than 35 years of experience in nutrition and food-related industries. Applying his finely-tuned genetic research capabilities and broad knowledge of health science, he designed Nutrigenetics.net to use a standardized vocabulary of indexing terms to solve terminology inconsistencies which are otherwise problematic.
Revealing the link between genetics and our environment, Nutrigenetics.net offers drill-down discovery tools allowing both consumers and professionals to easily search for information on literally thousands of different topics from A to Z, including health conditions, genetic testing, nutrition research, lifestyle, stress, and much more. The innovative format enables users to go well beyond simply scratching the surface of large result sets, using the index features to make informational discoveries.
Nutrigenetics’ vision is to engage the public, and to equip both the public and professionals to dialog together to form partnerships which will result in the appropriate application of this important new field of science.
Access to the Nutrigenetics.net database will be offered on a free trial basis through the end of November 2009. Interested parties can login at Nutrigenetics.net using “Free” as the username, and “Trial62” as the password.
